Honestly inevitable, there is already grassroots pro-AI and Anti-AI movements that 100% believe the other side are either shills or brainwashed by shills, combined with the fact that AI is genuinely disruptive and how will it affect the future is still uncertain it is simply irrational to not tilt it to your preferred side. From foreign governments to the USA to the AI companies themselves.
