  1. The person posting that became a trillionaire off of globalisation. So make of that what you will.

  2. Basically, he hates immigrants unless they come under special restrictive work visas. See the dollar signs behind everything billionaires say.

He is just mad that China makes better EVs than he does. If China, India, Russia and all of Europe were driving Tesla’s would be 110% be with globalization.

As we know it, yes. It’s always been the end point, could be going better though… doesn’t seem pleasant either way …

Absolutely not. We’ve had many authors play with this idea in fictional universes. I’m not saying that those stories are applicable to our civilization 1-to-1. I’m saying that there is no perfect system, and anyone who believes *their* system to be “the perfect system” are delusional.

Just look at stories of alien invasions (interplanetary aliens). No, I’m not talking about Independence Day; that shit is surface level. I’m talking about examples like Half-Life and the combine. Spoilers if you’ve never played the games.

Obviously, we don’t know much about the world after the local Earth Combine was severed from the Interdimensional Combine empire. (The Borealis plot is irrelevant to this discussion) But we know that most of the Earth is a deadly wasteland and infested with hostile organisms. In this case, NOT embracing Globalism would actually cause civilizational suicide.

Edit: I forgot to mention the world of Death Stranding. The games are literally a metaphor for Globalism. When the BTs appeared, it was quite literally required to help each other, less the Earth gets destroyed by voidouts.

Then we look at stories like Children of Men. In this story also, NOT embracing Globalism is directly causing civilizational suicide. It was paramount that the first pregnant women in decades needed to be studied to help figure out a way to save the human race with everyone around the Globe cooperating, but in the story itself we see that anti-globalist forces wanting to seize the woman for themselves for leverage.

  6. Globalism destroyed the roman republic and the roman empire, so yes, I do agree.

kinda the opposite, especially globalisng the world Currency to USD and to a lesser extend Euro, has made western countries extremely rich just for the demand of their currency.

Right now if any country wants to buy oil, they can only do it in USD, thats the deal the US has with UAE and Sadia Arabia, They only sell oil in USD and we will take out the competition around them.

That economic currency is already globalized
