In a trend that could endanger Ukraine’s long term stability, countries such as Greece, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Portugal have all demanded carve-outs from the current slate of sanctions, or blocked them entirely.
This is a worrisome trend that can endanger Ukraine’s ability to push back against Russia’s aggression over the medium to long term.

I am not against additional sanctions on Russia, but where exactly is the EU meant to get its oil and gas if the Strait of Hormuz and/or Bab El Mandeb is closed, or at least not open long enough to be considered a reliable trade route?
