  1. >Nicaragua’s long-serving president Daniel Ortega said the Central American country ‌will no longer hold elections, eliminating the possibility of an electoral challenge when his term ends next year and further entrenching the rule he shares with his wife.
    >>
    >”There won’t be any more elections here for them to try to seize the government and seize power,” Ortega said in a speech on Sunday evening to commemorate the 1979 Sandinista revolution, in which Ortega helped overturn the brutal Anastasio Somoza dictatorship.

Democrats at home replaying this over and over getting overheated.

Should’ve been obvious it would head this way after they rewrote the constitution to allow his wife to be co-president with him. He’s incredibly prideful and trying to eliminate any opposition to his regime like muzzling the Catholic Church and banning high ranking clergy

  3. Oh look, a Marxist that is cancelling elections and is an actual dictator. Big surprise there.
