No doubts a judge will squash this but I’ve also no doubts what RFK says here is true.
Probably better throw in other blue states because we all know California and Minnesota aren’t unique.
From what I read they can withhold funds until the state provides documentation regarding the claims.
It forces California to tighten its audits and verification processes, or risk losing the money permanently. The new system has already blocked payments to deceased people, so the leverage is there if the fraud is as widespread as alleged.
California could push back legally, but the immediate pressure is on them to clean up their oversight.
