Submission Statement:
Recent events have led many people to say, “See… both parties are the same.” I think that’s an understandable reaction, but it’s an oversimplification. There are good and bad people in both parties, yet the parties themselves are not identical. They have different constituencies, priorities, and governing philosophies. Recognizing that difference doesn’t require blind loyalty. Every politician should be held accountable for their own actions, every vote should be examined individually, and every policy should be judged by its real-world impact rather than the letter next to someone’s name.
