Sounds like religion masquerading as pseudo-science.

Believe what ever you like. A slightly different way to view this question is, Do you believe in Ghosts ?

Story time: like 6 years ago I left the bar with my fiancée after having 2 beers (not enough to even feel a buzz) after a chill night just stopping by to see my friends. On the way home I took a left on a back road which basically leads directly to my house. Last thing I remember is turning onto that road and then suddenly I was pulling into my driveway. I looked over at my fiancée and asked her what happened she looked at me confused and said “what do you mean?”. I had no where near enough to black out from drinking. I feel like we got into an accident and I died and woke up into another reality. Like I said I took that left (still had 15-20 minutes to get home) and boom next thing I know I was pulling into my driveway.

Schrodinger’s Consciousness lmao. But on the real, I disagree with the theory, bc there’s no way to prove every iteration of you would be the same due to the butterfly effect. In which, you’re also essentially saying our perceptive consciousness is forever. Which can’t be, if we haven’t always existed throughout all of time as an inevitability. It’d also be a paradox in the idea of the theory itself because that’d assume there should be a timeline in which we never existed. Multiple this experience of perception by 8 billion people and it starts to fall apart based on one’s own perception.

I don’t know. I don’t think there is some being out there that’s doing it like a God. If it’s a natural process that just happens and assuming it’s not being kept secret or that we actually haven’t figured it out in this timeline yet, then the possibilities are interesting. If it’s something that just happens naturally at random and a timeline knows it happens, they must have a very different perspective about life and death. If there is a timeline where they can control it then there are a ton of questions about our timeline. If it’s even real.

My big complaint with this idea is that people who believe it make it All-Or-Nothing.
I’m not preaching. But for some reason, God gets written out of the equation whenever this subject comes up. If that word bothers you, lets go with “Higher Power”.
I believe there is a Will behind it, and perhaps, a greater Intelligence. My own personal experience leads me to believe this.
I don’t pretend to know how it works. I only know that you CAN be relocated to another…. World? Timeline? Matrix? Dream? I don’t think it is arbitrary though, and it may not go on “forever”.
Consider that you may be here to learn spiritual lessons. This world is a great deal different, spiritually speaking, than the one I started out on before I died in 2008. I suspect that I was put here because it was a better fit for what my soul has become. That is only my guess.
Therefore… I believe that it would be a mistake to view Quantum Immortality as a roulette wheel, where you can just try for another spin if you aren’t happy with your circumstances.
Treat it like a miracle, and not a line of code in a computer program.

i can name a handful of moments in my life i really should have died but didn’t. i believe now God was watching over me, but i wouldn’t say quantum immortality is right for me.
i think parallel universes could be real & God could keep pushing you through to other universes where you keep living & make it very obvious something divine is at play hoping you’ll notice & surrender to him.
honestly though, i just believe in God & Jesus Christ. these theories are fun though.
