I’ve lived in Washington long enough to know it’s wildfire season, but this situation feels unsettling. Days before the fires, residents were receiving alerts warning about a wildfire expected on Saturday. Then three separate fires broke out, and as of this morning none had been contained. Around 60,000 people have been displaced, with many being told they could return to find nothing left.
What also stands out to me is that Spokane was one of the communities that voted against AI data centers just a few months ago. I’m not saying the two are connected, but the timing makes me ask questions. These aren’t just remote forest fires the city itself is burning. The fact that people were warned about Saturday before it happened is what I find especially concerning.

I don’t really understand this one. So is the conspiracy that this is retaliation for voting against data centers? Or does the fire somehow make it easier or more feasible for the data center to be built? Or ???
Probably were intentional
