I know some leftists who I know would be pissed off about this if they understood the math. Many on the left are unaware of the real world details of economics or how government spending works and affects them. They don’t see the connection between government spending, how it devalues their own money, and how much of what the left has done directly impacts things like how hard it is for them to buy a home.
This is the struggle for us. We need to show them the real world effects this fraud causes for them, but also just that the spending itself is problematic. I think the time is ripe for that because while the economy is presenting as strong with the stock market and some other markers, people clearly do not feel that wealth. Part of that is just a severe level of cynicism and envy, but some of it is legitimately troubling.
