  1. Submission Statement: Majority Sunni countries Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan signed a defense agreement on Friday that would treat an attack on one as an attack on all three. Major implications include:

    1) Pakistan’s nuclear umbrella extending to Turkey

    2) A NATO country potentially getting involved if India and Pakistan fight again

    3) The rising tension between Israel and Turkey.

    4) Saudi Arabia’s ongoing military modernization, and foreign support

  2. Ok, so Pakistan and Turkey are going to go to war with Iran and their proxies then, right? I feel like they should have waited until it’s clear the Iran War is over because it kind of looks like this has no teeth.
