Seriously, we don't know even the iceberg tip of the roadmap regarding these data centers once they are built.
I do not believe they are being build out of necessity because the internet is running out of space. I don't believe you need this much hardware to operate a mass surveillance state. Not in 2026.
What if this is to eventually roll out PHYSICAL AI powered assets. I mean come on. Multiple gigawatts PER building??
The JEDI contract with microsoft must have been laying the groundwork for a plan for the defense sector to step in and have the lion's share of production.

Roger, Roger.
It’s just Skynet
And they are using us to train the ai with our data from all the battle royals being played
Where’s the image from, never realised the Death Star had a parking garage. 😄
To your point: **Yes, there is explicit evidence from executive interviews** confirming that a major, long-term goal of space-based data centers is to establish off-world manufacturing, lunar infrastructure, and deep-space exploration.
Computation is simply the next commodity that will vastly change the landscape of everything, we can’t fully imagine what 10yrs will look like just as someone in the 1920’s/30’s couldn’t fully imagine what the 21st century would be like.
Everything will be seeking efficiency in a recursive manner. This requires the great amount of computation and data these house. An exponential boom of efficiency that is again recursive as everyone else will always be optimizing which requires everyone else to be doing so, too.
