That just means they want a bigger cut of it, not to actually restrict building and protect the citizens. Lord knows Congress doesn’t put that money back in our pockets. Rather than a new tax how about actually lowering costs or providing benefits for those who have to give up parts of their community to house these things?

Really think that all this will do is cause the tech industry to pass on those extra costs down to us. I would like to be wrong, but that seems to be the corporate playbook.
