  1. Don’t celebrate too soon. He is pleading guilty in the federal case to avoid life in prison. He is expecting a 25 years sentence.

    Then he is going to argue that the state prosecuting him for murder is double jeopardy.

    Essentially it is a ploy to avoid proper justice

  2. I think his council realized he had no hope of winning this thing. Pleading guilty likely got him a better plea deal than going to trial which likely would’ve resulted in a far worse fate.
