the way i see it people have a right to there religious rituals as long as people aren’t forced into it, Muslims and Jews also do sacrifices animals.
Example the Jewish community do a ritual called Kapparot where A person swings a live chicken over their head three times, and A short prayer is spoken to symbolically transfer the person’s sins to the chicken and then they kill it.
