This was taken from the YouTube channel "KoreanEnglishman" where the host interviews celebrities while eating Korean food. It was to promote Deadpool and uploaded on 9 May 2018. I'm just currently watching old Marvel-relalted interviews and found this one very intriguing. Thought I'd share it here.
Given the context and what we know about the entertainment industry, occult rituals, and all the crazy shit that famous celebrities got themselves into, I find what he said here to pretty weird and interesting.
(1) The host cut the food for Ryan Reynolds to try. He replied with a deadpan expression that his "handlers" usually do that for him.
(2) The host offered him alcohol and said not too much because he has other events to attend to. Ryan Reynolds said no problem because he has extra livers and, pointing towards his entourage, that those aren't his friends, they are just there for organ harvesting.
(3) This one may be a stretch, but I still find it weird. The host said the food was too hot. Ryan Reynolds said it's okay because he is legally dead inside, and he has communicated with his late grandpa, grandma, and father.
I know this can be brushed off as dry humour from him. But the choices of words made me think there are some truths in them. And most jokes are based on truths anyway.
