Personally I don’t like when he does this. It doesn’t help anything. If someone can tell me how this helps anything let me know. And I like Trump. But this is one side of Trump I do not like because it’s like taking 10 steps forward and 20 steps back. It does nothing to help anything.

He’s such an ass. I don’t even care if it’s the old 6D chess where he’s tweaking his “enemies”, such as Canada. And he’s just teasing, trying to get something accomplished. It’s NOT the way you accomplish things, including alliances.

This is so stupid.
If Canada’s at fault and walked away from terms they’d already agreed to, as the US negotiators claim, then let Carney throw some red meat to his Liberal base and then quietly cut a deal in a couple months when he figures out he needs to. If we’re at fault and sprung surprise terms on them at the last second, as the Canadian negotiators claim, then we should apologize and take steps to rebuild trust.
Either way, renaming Lake Ontario is childlike and idiotic; and accomplishes nothing. These negotiations don’t have to be zero-sum.
