although Avengers: Endgame is less likely similar of the pandemic, it was a movie about where the world's population is decreased and 50% of the world is dead!!

I always found the similarities between Hobbs & Shaw (2019) and the COVID-19 pandemic pretty interesting. In the movie, a genetically engineered virus called Snowflake becomes a major global threat. It's highly infectious, there's fear that it could spread across the world and kill an enormous number of people, and everyone is basically racing against time to find a way to stop it. Then, not long after the movie came out, the real world was dealing with COVID-19 — a new infectious disease that spread internationally, led to lockdowns and travel restrictions, caused millions of deaths, and triggered a massive global effort to develop vaccines and control the spread. Obviously, the two situations aren't actually the same: Snowflake is a fictional engineered bioweapon and is portrayed as being vastly more deadly, while there's no established evidence that COVID-19 was deliberately created or released as a weapon. Still, watching Hobbs & Shaw after living through COVID makes some of the scenes about a mysterious virus spreading worldwide feel pretty damn eerie in hindsight.

  1. Can you make a guess on what major event shall happen next since we know the Avengers: Doomsday will release by the end of the year?

Also that creepy Tom Hanks movie about a pandemic in the Da Vinci Code franchise (forgot it’s name)

Only saw the 1st Fast & Furious. Didn’t know there was virus story line behind it. I thought it was just all racing and killing bad guys. So did the creator of the virus die? Just asking to see if that would happen in real life.
