The problem with Bessent’s intervention is that it wasn’t really much at all. $5-10 billion sounds like a large number but it very much pales in comparison to the overall movement of currency markets. For comparison, Japan apparently spent [$96 billion in the past month](https://archive.ph/c3d7O) (I have some doubts about this number, this is much larger than I would expect, but nonetheless I think my point about Bessent’s intervention being weak more than anything still stands).

If anything, it honestly sounds like Bessent was giving market signals only in order to move the Yen but doing little to actually support it. Besides, the real antidote to a weak Yen is for Japan to raise interest rates, but so far the BOJ has been pretty dovish, [with only small increments. ](https://tradingeconomics.com/japan/interest-rate)

  2. Bro you order size is too big or too small, you gotta have a large but not too large order so it looks more like a whale trader instead of institutional trading that will cause the traders with level 3 data to reevaluate stuff
