Submission Statement: War in Ukraine. While it’s easy to always read opinion pieces written in the West, there is a significant merit to read the Russian opinion on various developments of the war effort. The picture Strelkov paints (who advocated for immediate general mobilization back in 2022) paints a picture that is very dark for Russia, and it’s coming from a pretty nationalistic voice.
Of course some may say he is biased, but I cannot spot any sentence that’s obviously wrong.
My Opinion: I feel the coming mobilization could result in a domestic crisis for the Russian authorities. Since 2022, Russian authorities have closely connected mobilization data with their digital government, meaning any person who gets a summons paper has the border closed on him, meaning people could no longer flee the country. If suddenly a lot of people, especially from major urban areas, find themselves forced into a war that has no genuine public support, either all of them will have to learn how to live in a forest, or………

Kinda the whole point of testing nato resolve, get a good old false flag to get the rural Russians riled up on RT bullshit and have them die in the Donbas. If only Putin read locke as a kid and not Ivan Ilyin
