The prevailing conspiracy theory is that Kubrick "went rogue" to expose the Elites with Eyes Wide Shut, and they assassinated him for it.

movie makes more sense when you realize the adult prostitutes at the party were supposed to be children in kubricks orignal cut. there are leftover scenes that point to that being the case too like the costume makers daughter or how the movie ends with their daughter walking off with the two men in suits. they killed kubrick so hollywood could just portray it as nothing more than an adult orgy that elites get up to.
