**Submission Statement:** A topic which has come up frequently in the past months is the preparation for some kind of attack which will impact the power grid, internet, stock market or other systemically-important infrastructure.
Yesterday and today, two stories came out which could suggest the beginning of the “information operations” phase of this plan, first a statement by the United States that their attacks on Iran yesterday were conducted to prevent Iran from severing the underwater internet cables in the Persian Gulf,
and second a statement from a previously-unknown (and therefore highly suspicious) Yemeni cyberwarfare group announcing that the 5 Israeli desalination plants which were powered down had been targeted by a successful cyberattack (this has been denied in the mainstream press, saying that the desalination plants were shut down as a result of turbid water coming off the coast of Egypt).
Taken together, it seems possible that these two stories, combined with other recent stories (cyberattacks on the water and power infrastructure of several states and cities across the US in the past month, and warnings by the FBI and other authorities of the increased risk of a cyberattack on systemically-important infrastructure by threat actors as a result of the US’ wars abroad), represent the “preparation of the information battlespace” in advance of a “Cyber-9/11” style false flag attack.
Such a “Cyber-9/11” on systemic infrastructure in US and allied countries would serve multiple purposes:
a) give the government just cause to declare a national emergency, suspend elections and the Constitution, and install a military government
b) give casus belli for entering a war against Russia, China, Iran
c) erase evidence of past crimes such as our ridiculously corrupt financial system and pave the way for introduction of a new digital economic system
d) shock and traumatize the population into accepting these measures and providing a strong incentive for people to comply with government directives (e.g., come to FEMA camps for food, shelter and medical care), up to and including joining the military to fight in WW3 so as to have their family taken care of
