SS: In 2019, Canadian PM Mark Carney, who was then Governor of the Bank of England, held a livestreamed conversation with Professor Lawrence H. Summers on ‘the new international order.’ Mark Carney stated that the central bankers of the world belonged “to the world’s tightest mutual admiration society.” Professor Summers then validated that by telling the audience that central bankers are more loyal to each other than their own countries. Carney never pushed back on his statement. We all know it’s true.
