Seeing “Jim” on the red carpet gave me one of the most unsettling, disturbing feelings in a long time. Like it’s so clearly not him. It doesn’t look like him physically, it doesn’t sound like his voice, and mostly importantly his personality / essence is completely out of character.
Not to mention the eerie emphasis this fake Jim put on phrases like “I’m DEAD,” before laughing.
I tend to think that this is someone in a very advanced mask rather than the popular clone theory, but either way it was definitely not the man we know.
And it’s gotten under my skin like an itch I can’t scratch.
The motivation for silencing Jim is obvious given all the things he was talking about, but who the hell is the person in the mask? What is their goal with making a public freak show like this with such an unconvincing replacement? Will Jim suddenly “die from an accident” in a couple months so they don’t have to keep up the charade forever? If “Jim” does more movies, are we going to listen to this weird imposter’s voice and just all pretend like it’s actually Jim?
Not to mention that when I tried to look up older pics of Jim to see when he first started looking like this, the oldest thing I could find was his bday party with a bunch of other comedians that they called “The Laugh Supper” and he’s wearing a Saturn t-shirt. Some kind of Order of Jesters ritual shit?
Anyone else feel haunted in a way by this whole situation?
