God bless this man for holding firm in the face of the other lunatics on the jury.
My understanding of Massachusetts’s absurd insanity defense law makes it so if the prosecution can’t prove without a reasonable doubt the person wasn’t temporarily insane they can be said to be not guilty by reason of insanity.
As anyone with half an ounce of logic can tell you that’s almost impossible to do when against a decent defense lawyer. You can’t prove someone’s state of mind while they murdered people unless while the person was commiting the murder they happened to have a psychiatrist present asking them questions throughout the murder.

What is the actual fuck. Even if you think Clancy is not guilt by insanity, no, I’m not going to “get over” the children getting strangled to death.

This is suicidal empathy in a nutshell. Empathy for a murderer and zero empathy for the children.

Fuck those jurors. That is an absolutely ghastly read. They were more interested in making sure Lindsay got off and searching for her victimhood throughout the process than finding justice for the *actual* victims in the case. Disgusting.
1 good juror out of 12 is pretty shitty. But at least the prosecution got 1 right. Sadly none of the comments from those three idiots that gave interviews was surprising. That monster deserves to go straight to an unmarked grave, and as far as I’m concerned 11 of those jurors can go with her.
