Trump had a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein through the 1990s and 2000s New York social circuit. Epstein had ties to Israel, and through those ties, to Mossad. I believe Mossad used Epstein to cultivate leverage over Trump… exploiting his personal weaknesses, to keep him close and usable. Trump wasn't running anything; he was the honeypot, groomed into a position where he could be useful later.
At some point, possibly at one of the parties they shared, I think Epstein gave Trump information suggesting an attack was coming. This isn't a stretch, there were documented CIA warnings before 9/11, and the CIA and Mossad have a history of joint operations internationally, so the infrastructure for that kind of intelligence-sharing already existed.
Then the attack happened. That afternoon, Trump called into a New York news station, and instead of expressing concern focused on the tragedy, he pointed out that his building was now the tallest in downtown Manhattan. I don't read that as a random personality quirk. I read it, along with the way he's kept inserting himself into the story for 25 years since (claiming he was at Ground Zero, that he helped clear rubble), as subconscious guilt masking itself as concern.
I also think the Israeli nationals who were detained in New Jersey for photographing and appearing to celebrate the attack are a relevant data point…. evidence that people with Israeli intelligence connections may have had advance awareness of what was coming.
Having that knowledge, and having been compromised in the process of getting it, I believe Trump used the situation as leverage to protect himself from consequences for other things he'd done… and that this protection played a role in his eventual rise to the presidency.
Tier 1: Established facts
• Trump-Epstein were socially connected through the 90s-2000s
• Trump called into WWOR-TV on 9/11 and mentioned his building's new "tallest" status
• Trump's account of his own 9/11 involvement has expanded and shifted over 25 years, with claims (Ground Zero presence, rubble-clearing) that first responders don't corroborate
• Pre-9/11 U.S. intelligence had warnings (PDB, etc.) that weren't acted on
