    Objectively they did lose. I mean most these types hated Shias and now the middle east is carved up between American backed regimes, and Shia Iran. Hell look at Al-Sharaa in Syria, or the Abraham Accords.

    Jihadis did indeed lose big time. Tho Islamic terrorism was never going to take over the world as the ideas were not really that popular outside of their own circles. One thing tho – when i look at modern world, the warnings of Sayyid Qutb has been definitely vindicated. Our societies have lost the vision of ‘’collective good’’ or common good as selfish individualism has defined taken hold to its full extent.
