“President Emmanuel Macron has drawn a clear line by declaring that contributing to freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz does not in itself mean one is actively participating in the war, nor does it entail dispatching troops to fight on behalf of the US,” he said.

I’d be surprised if Korea, Japan and Taiwan haven’t sent air defense “advisors” yet to gain experience. I know those Aussie sailors were on the USN sub when it sunk that Iranian naval vessel as trainees.
