World Trade Center 7 was more than a commercial office tower. It housed New York City’s emergency operations center and offices for the SEC, IRS, Secret Service, and other federal agencies. While its unusual structural design built over a Con Edison substation and supported by complex transfer systems made it markedly different from a conventional high-rise. It was also a modern steel framed building built to contemporary fire codes and yet became the first known tall building to undergo total collapse primarily from uncontrolled fire. Its lower-floor sprinkler system was rendered ineffective after damage to the city water mains, and while several surrounding buildings also suffered severe fire and structural damage, most remained standing. NIST concluded that WTC 7’s long-span floors and structural connections made it unusually vulnerable to fire driven thermal expansion and progressive collapse. With these circumstances the building was not designed for such a series of events.

Even more concerning to me was the soon to be testament of Barry Jennings :as reported in the Final Cut of Loose Change:

Barry Jennings, an eyewitness who had been trapped in building 7, who claimed to have heard explosions and “stepped over bodies”, and questioned why and how World Trade Center 7 was brought down. The film also notes the coincidence of Jennings’ death occurring two days prior to the National Institute of Standards and Technology building 7 report release date, as well as the fact that Jennings’ testimony contradicts the “official explanation” that there were no deaths or witnesses of explosions in building 7. It goes on to state that a private investigator was hired to investigate his death, which was prompted with a reply stating that the case was referred to the police, that a full refund is given, and to not email about that individual again.

  2. I’ve always wondered: Who EXACTLY made the most money from this entire event? 🤔 I know it wasn’t Bush.
