Of the eight flight recorders aboard the four hijacked planes on 9/11 conviently, none of the four from Flights 11 and 175 at the World Trade Center were ever officially recovered. At the Pentagon, both Flight 77 recorders were found its cockpit recorder was too badly damaged to produce usable audio, while the flight-data recorder still worked. At the Flight 93 crash site, both recorders were recovered despite severe impact damage, and investigators were able to retrieve usable information from them. The contrast is striking: badly damaged recorders were still recovered at the other crash sites, while all four from the WTC disappeared into the debris field.

Flight 175: FDR not recovered, CVR not recovered.

Idk that makes sense to me. There was a lot more rubble and destruction at the WTC. There were also a lot more people working to clean it up after so maybe they were found by someone who didn’t realize what they were
