      Submission statement: Nate Silver mentioned that the Iran War “has to be on the shortlist for dumbest political blunders in American history”. Given how preventable it was, how directly impactful it was on Americans’ finances, and how transparently responsible Trump was for it, are there any other political mistakes in history that can compare to it?

      Who would imagine that starting a war without any actual plan to end it, in a region of the world where a large quantity of the worlds oil flows through, right before the midterms, and after promising to bring down inflation, could end up being a poor idea.

      Evidence of an Iranian nuclear weapon was less forthcoming than misleading intelligence about WMDs in Iraq and Afghanistan, and no one would have bought it anyways. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.

      as a person who checks silver bulletin almost everyday, flat 38 has been the floor so the speak, and i’ve never seen disapproval break the 59 ceiling until today, so it was a pleasant surprise to see trump break the barriers so to speak today
