I know lots of stoners, and there wont be a day throughout your life in the UK in a city where you won't smell it. Cops basically dont care anymore about hassling you, at least from my experience.
It's been a known thing that Albainians in the UK are the largest suppliers of weed across towns. A town near me had a warehouse full of weed a few years ago worth £1.1m if I recall. I think that the profit they make from it gives them access to weapons, and ways to blackmail or implied blackmail of politicians to keep them from introducing legal weed.
It doesnt make sense to me how the conservatives came out and said they would arrest anyone for smoking weed, and labour who have been attacked by the far right havent come out in favour of supporting it as it would boost their polls for the next general election. The amount of money from legalising it in the UK, and not capitalising it is what is causing domestic violence offenders to be released early, shoddy train networks, you name it. I genuinely don't understand why it's not been made legal here, and feel that theres a bigger reason at play.
