SS: As if the war in Yemen wasn’t bad enough already, a new war seems to have broken out on the other side of the Bab el Mandeb – the most recent reports say that Ethiopia is conducting drone strikes on Eritrean forces who are seemingly massing forces in Adigrat, a town 25 miles from the border *inside* Ethiopia.
It goes without saying that this war has the potential to spread further into Africa, especially into neighbouring Sudan, which is mired in it’s own civil war. With the way things are going, I fear that this conflict has the potential to spread to the scale of the 2nd Congo War – also known as the African World War – if peace isn’t found urgently.
