Submission statement: the last military execution by firing squad in the US was 1945. Not only is bringing back firing squad executions an unprecedented step, but this would be the first time the US has ever live-streamed an execution.

  1. Pretty sure this breaks the ToS on every streaming service.

Where are they streaming this? Trump TV?

  2. You know what?

    I am fine with this.

If we aren’t gonna abolish the death penalty, we should at least be honest about what we are doing.

Firing squad in the public eye, so every American knows exactly what we are doing.

  3. These people are disgusting, everyone who takes part in this is disgusting and everyone who voted for this is disgusting. I feel like there is a way to watch it that is not disgusting, but most people who watch are disgusting too.

  4. > Hasan, a former major and psychiatrist, opened fire at Fort Hood on Nov. 5, 2009, killing 13 people and wounding 32 others while shouting “Allahu akbar,” or “God is great” in Arabic.

    > He was paralyzed from the waist down after he was shot during the attack, and he later told a panel of military mental health professionals that he wished he had been killed because it would have made him a martyr for his cause. He also said that if he were executed, he would still be considered a martyr.

Oh well, isn’t that just perfect? This guy wants to be a jihadist martyr and now we’re allowing him to do just that. Fighting the barbarians by making us by stooping to their level and making us look like them is surely the great strategy here.

There really aren’t words for just how fucking depressing this government is. There are no depths they will not sink to and no evil their stupid, soulless swamp ape supporters will not applaud.
