Hey everyone. I managed to find an ecopy of this pretty niche/rare book. The contents are absolutely horrible. So much so that I have a hard time believing it to be true. All I know is that the book was taken out of print because it was ALLEGEDLY inaccurate or used faulty methods of research etc. It’s very difficult to find any info surrounding this book. Have any of you happened to read it or know about that era of journalism during the satanic panic? I don’t want to just dismiss it entirely but it’s quite shocking and I don’t know where else to look regarding its subject matter.

Can you explain the contents of the book, is it fiction or is it someone researching SRA?
Also what about the contents of the book is hard for you to believe exactly? If you search SRA victims on YouTube, you will find many people describing the horrific things that is SRA. Watch some of Mary Knights videos especially the ones on false memory foundation which was created to discredit victims of Satanic Panic.
I’m not familiar with it, but based on what little I find when searching it appears to be similar to [Michelle Remembers](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelle_Remembers), which centered around recovered memory therapy and has since been pretty thoroughly debunked. If that’s the case, and it is along the same vein, it’s probably “real” in the sense that someone was able to similarly mess with patients’ heads.
