    Approximately 71% of Chinese companies on the Fortune Global 500 list are state-owned enterprises (SOEs), according to the article.

    These SOEs also account for 78% of the total revenue and 84% of all assets from Chinese firms on the list.

    No surprise that the SOE’s massively underperform their chinese private sector counterparts.
