  1. I agree in theory. But reality is that persons are not critical, intelligent, fair. And in populations where idiocy and herd-mentality are the norm, what can be done?

The only obvious-to-me at least partial stop gap would be intelligence and knowledge screens for voting. Something like LSAT logical and analytical reasoning tests, plus some elements from something like AP Econ, AP Biology, AP US History. But then over time the tests could be corrupted, so it’s trouble.

If you are right and can prove your point you don’t need censorship. If you are wrong there is no way your opinion to survive, of course unless you are a professional liar or manipulator.

  3. The answer to bad speech is true speech. This is pretty much the current Supreme Court’s definition. From before the Trump appointments, when it was still Lefty. So, anyone who opposes that and wants censorship, they are the Nazis.

  4. Pls stop calling everyone Nazis. Take the time to properly characterize and qualify your opposition, else your asserrtations are expressed as lazy and bad speech.

  5. The problem with this is ‘fake news’ is purposely placed in front of us. Comments and content are pushed on to the people. By the time the truth is articulated society has already turned to the next topic
