  1. for antitrust amateurs, this suit is a total stinker. trade association cases are hard enough to bring as it is, and there’s a facial defense against Muskrat’s claims that’ll probably have them dismissed at summary judgment: there’s a sufficiently plausible independent business justification for each and every single one of these advertisers to do this on their own – X was losing them money with its nazi shit!

    >Linda Yaccarino, X’s chief executive, in an open letter to advertisers. “People are hurt when the marketplace of ideas is undermined and some viewpoints are not funded over others as part of an illegal boycott.”

How do people say stuff like this and not cringe at themselves?

Advertisers: exercise their right to not give money and speech to them

    Twitter: 😱

On one hand, people need to lose their hate boner for Musk and start being friendly with him again.

On the other hand, this lawsuit is [redacted] since people agreeing not to buy something is not a crime.
