1. The fact he has no ambition to run for president. Sure, people can change in eight years, but for now, **halle-fuckin-lujah**. These last two weeks have shown that the Democrats might have their deepest bench of talent in decades. Let 2032 be a true, competitive primary with no pre-ordained successor.
2. The fact that internal polling apparently did not meaningfully favour Shapiro. I’m unsurprised by it and it means that whatever their internal polls show, they aren’t desperate.
3. The fact Walz clearly was the dark horse pick who won Kamala over speaks immensely to his talent. He was up against two people she knew from her time as AG, a guy who has worked in the same administration for four years and an astronaut. He must be **extremely** impressive to have come out of that group on top.

>Tim Walz was in the midst of his interview with Vice President Kamala Harris’ vetting team when he told them there was something important they needed to know.
>He doesn’t use a teleprompter, the Minnesota governor said. He doesn’t even have one, in fact. So if he was the pick, Walz said, Harris’ team would have to get him a teleprompter and teach him how to use it.
Haha I love this guy. Just the perfect pick for this election.
