Turns out voters don’t like their representatives being investigated by the doj for utilizing campaign funds to pay her husband’s security company, don’t like their representatives lying about voting for the child tax credit, don’t like being ignored for national press tour etc. in most blue districts, they’re fine with strong criticism of israeli gov policy (Slotking called Smotrich “very sick” yesterday and is winning big in Michigan atm)+strong support to end the war asap but they’re not fine with struggling to condemn hamas as terrorists, not fine with just fabricating stories about helping jewish people, and not fine with having a security guard who literally blames covid on jewish people.
tbh as much as i dislike cori bush, if she wasn’t under doj investigation, she probably wins (she’s down by 5.4 points with 85% of the vote) but it’s her fault obviously.

Aren’t they reporting a little too early? The [page from the secretary of state](https://enr.sos.mo.gov/) doesn’t have 91% reporting, but less than half. She is probably losing, but she is down 4 points in the official tally.

When word came out that she said she could heal tumors with her hands I think that’s when most people I knew turned on her.
AIPAC donating to Wesley Bell gave me significant pause but Cori Bush was just so…. disappointing
