When you have stories like [this ](https://www.reddit.com/r/urbanplanning/s/OYWt41swSD) in San Francisco there’s no hope. A company is offering pods (basically just a bed and a locked door) for $700 a month. They already had approval, then the city changed their decision and removed their permit.
Yeah these aren’t perfect, but they’re better than a shelter and a lot better than being homeless.
