    It’s literally an airplane

News Nation crew got close up footage. How is that not an airplane?

  2. This hysteria has gotten ridiculous. Every time they show a video of these drones it has red and green flashing lights, which is the standard light pattern for all aircraft in the united states. It’s just planes. Even this article has a picture which is obviously just a plane with its landing lights on. Here’s what they look like when they’re not being photographed by a potato.

99% of these have clearly been just normal air traffic. Some people have apparently never looked up before.

  4. It’s textbook mass hysteria. Former Maryland governor Larry Hogan tweeted a video of “drones” and it’s clearly the constellation Orion. Most of the “drone” videos are very obviously airplanes from the light configuration.

There are millions of people who never looked up at the night sky in their lives who are now looking up.

  5. << A large number of mysterious drones have been reported flying over parts of New Jersey and the East Coast in recent weeks, sparking speculation and concern over who sent them and why.

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy wrote to President Joe Biden asking for answers. New Jersey’s new senator, Andy Kim, spent Thursday night on a drone hunt in rural northern New Jersey, and posted about it on X. …

Republican U.S. Rep. Chris Smith said a Coast Guard commanding officer told him a dozen drones closely followed a Guard lifeboat near Barnegat Light and Island Beach State Park in Ocean County over the weekend. …

Pentagon spokesperson Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said Thursday that the military’s initial assessment after consulting with the Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Council — that the drones are not of foreign origin — remained unchanged. …

The runways at Stewart International Airport — about 60 miles (100 kilometers) north of the city — were shut down for about one hour Friday night because of drone activity in the airspace, Gov. Kathy Hochul said. >>

And then a lot of officials suggesting we shoot them down followed by a number eye-witness accounts.

I certainly couldn’t say what’s going on—and every piece of speculation I’ve heard has gaping holes—but it does seem that something strange is happening.
