First of all, I am a 100% libertarian, very closely aligned to Milton Friedman's (minarchist) views, so don't think I'm not one of you.

I've been (lurking) here for a while, but honestly, everything just seems to be memes and circle-jerking. I tried to initiate a proper discussion a few days ago but my post got removed, despite being completely in line with the sub rules and reddit rules. Upon asking mods I got no answer. In case you're not familiar with NAP, which is the core foundation of libertarianism: it implies that even if you're not ok with something, you should tolerate it, because otherwise imposing rules on them would contradict the NAP.

I have numerous discussions I'd like to raise, but I am not sure if this is the right sub or platform for it. If everything just gets removed at a whim, if every discussion is just another "yay, we so much better than anyone else", then what's the point of this sub? Am I perhaps in the wrong place? Where can you discuss real libertarian questions that don't devolve into the equivalent of monkeys throwing turds at each other?

I'm genuinely interested, but I imagine that this post will get removed, or getting banned, in which case it would just make it clear that this isn't a libertarian sub, but just a few people LARPing it.

Sorry for the rant – but if there will be good answers, then I am looking forward to raising new, interesting, and perhaps though-provoking discussions going forward.

Yeah, this is the place for libertarian discussions. The meme sub is /r/libertarianmemes

That said, you will still occasionally see memes posted here as well.
