How Biden Screwed the Steelworkers | Japan, one of our closest allies, wanted the deal. So did Pittsburgh steelworkers and members of the president’s cabinet. So why did he block it?

  1. If the steel deal was renamed “Make America produce again partnership with small country Japan giving us good deals and tons of jobs and money reducing inflation deal”, I think it would’ve worked out.

At this point, the only logical explanation is his own *personal* nostalgia and nationalism, not the electorate’s. He is personally dismayed by US manufacturing dying

Biden’s simply been a shit president.

Overspending on stimulus and maintaining Trump tariffs to boost inflation by somewhere between 3 and 5 points higher than otherwise would have been, massively bungling the Afghanistan pullout, doing nepotism pardoning his son, pardoning the cash for kids guy (“ackshually it was just a commutation” ok nerd nobody cares), pushing protectionist shit to get in the way of green goals, pivoting on immigration only when it was too little too late, refusing to drop out of the race until it was too late and dooming the party to defeat, and now this

The guy isn’t as bad as Trump but he’s genuinely been a shit president
