While I like the pick of Walz overall, I do think this is a valid criticism and point. Raising corporate taxes while running a surplus and also putting the surtax on capital gains are not particularly sound economic policies.
Of course, I don’t think he’ll have much effect on tax policy if he’s VP but it’s something that’s worth criticism IMO.
