If I owned a business that relied on US exports, I would have all hands on deck looking for ways to diversify my business or completely pivot to something else. I rememver reading about a guy in Canada that owned a business that made car parts and 100% of his business was exporting to the US. If I were this guy, I would be trying to figure out what else my business could manufacture or looking for customers for my parts in Canada. Trump not going forward with the tariffs today would not change any of that.
