Maybe Trump missed living in a blue state and he’s just trying to make it happen in Florida again

    >Trump gave the example of if Oklahoma were hit by a tornado, then the state should be allowed to respond “and then the federal government can help them out with the money.”

THIS IS LITERALLY HOW FEMA WORKS

  3. Neither the federal government nor the states should do anything. Stop encouraging moral hazard.

I feel like it’s a good idea to download this checklist and get on packing in case the treasonous orange shitweasel gets his wish. I started preparing for disasters the last time he was in office, which is why I bought zero groceries during the first two months of the pandemic.

  5. I said this in the DT during the Cali fires, but the future of disaster recovery in America is bailouts for Red states, and barely concealed glee and trolling when Blue states are hit.

Haha I guess Trump doesn’t realize that FEMA helps a lot of his voters in Florida and North Caroli-

Oh, who am I kidding. Those fuckin states will probably go even redder next election.
