I’ve seen people here complain that Democrats are too focused on cost of living instead of Trump’s idiocy and assault on democracy.
I don’t know what the right way forward is on messaging to voters. Maybe what worked for this Iowa state legislature candidate won’t work for federal-level Democrats. But here you go.

Maybe its two different battles. Maybe cost of living and other normal Dem positions are a good strategy when its normie dem vs normie republican. At the presidential level the strategy seems less effective vs a completely insane MAGA movement that gets all the crazies turned out
