  1. Trump’s first term caused all of our allies to be irritated except Turkey, Egypt, Israel and some gulf states so I expect more of the same with this Trump administration.

  3. A formal treaty is Senate-approved and, I presume, carries the force of law. Does that mean that orders to attack a treaty ally are illegal orders?

    I did not have “kicked out of NATO because we were being such a megabitch” on my bingo card, though.
