You’re acting like it’s not more likely than not he’ll sell Ukraine too
Basically the only US rival/enemy that didn’t stan for Trump this time around was Iran, and even they will somehow come out of this in the black, with our luck.

This is me just musing, but maybe Trump thinks less of Putin these days because of the Ukraine debacle. Sure, he said Putin was smart at the start of the conflict, but considering the quagmire Russia got itself in against a smaller country, it definitely sullied the image of Russia and its armed forces.
since Trump values strength, he would naturally see Putin as less of a capable leader following these mistakes. He’s calling in aid from Iran and North Korea, those are desperate gambles, not sound tactics.
