Am I crazy to think lots of republicans were perfectly aware that Trump’s economic policy is dogshit but they decided that cultural signaling was more important?

If you go to their subs they are at least not saying that in public. They are still saying they are “winning” and that this is exactly what they wanted. From what I have seen all the high prices that were SO IMPORTANT last year aren’t a big deal now if it means they can buy from American businesses. They also seem to fully believe we can manufacture everything in house without any imports at all

Honestly if the Dems were still in power — I’m pretty sure inflation would have stabilized close to 2%
Things were trending in the right direction
I was told gas would be under 2 dollars a gallon by now.
Not me.
I drive a Prius, I already bought a bunch of non-perishables in bulk, and I plan to buy potted herbs this weekend.
Obliterate the Republicans inflation.
